Born and bred in the small country town of Bega in NSW Austraila, Corinne Gibbons has gone from strength to strength since performing at the tender age of 17 with her first all female rock band PASH. Now based in Singapore, Corinne has had an incredible career – from collaborating with the likes of Jack Sonni of Dire Straits at the age of 20 to producing hit singles, singing with the Count Basie Big Band in NYC, performing with Red Holt from The Ramsey Lewis Trio and winning the prestigious PBS Jazz Award. She has been performing to audiences around the world from Japan to India, New York, LA and the UK. Most recently Corinne performed In Hong Kong and recently sold out performances at the Screening Room in Singapore. She has taken out two awards in the USA for her MELT album for Best Music and Nature Film at the World Wildlife Film Festivals in The Hamptons and in North Virginia and she also took out 2 awards at last year’s Summer Solstice Festival at Stonehenge, for Best Album and a Peace award for her contribution to the planet through MELT.

From intimate stories of love to loss to the plight of the planet, Corinne’s 3rd album seamlessly crosses genres from jazz to country, pop, rock and even Celtic. MELT is all about connection – connecting to our planet and to the ones we love.

Prepare to be transported at Corinne Gibbons’ first concert in KL as Corinne performs her signature sublime sounds and soulful lyrics reminiscent of Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy against a filmic collage of dramatic cinematic vistas of the Arctic, Antarctica, the Galapagos Islands and the Mediterranean by celebrated filmmaker Toni Houston.
